How to lock a folder without using any software

Many of us want to lock a folder without using any software because most of the software are paid versions. So today you will learn to lock a folder without using any software.Here we go for video tutorial : 



Step 1 : Open Notepad


Step 2 : Copy the given code below into the notepad

Step 3 : Save it as lock.bat extension and the icon will appear like this on your desktop





 Step 4 : Open the bat extension file and it will take you to command prompt like the one below 


Step 5 : That's it , your done with the simple code trick to lock and unlock the folder. To unlock the folder you need a password and the default password is : mypassword 

Note : If you want to change the password , then right click on the bat extension file and edit with notepad or any text editor and change the default password "mypassword" in the code to your own password.
