How to Enable Copy and Paste in CMD in Windows

Today we will learn how to enable Copy paste in CMD (Windows Command Prompt) in windows . This option gives an advantage on copying any command from internet and directly paste it in cmd and execute that program.

So here are the simple steps below to Enable Copy paste in CMD (Windows Command Prompt)

Step 1 : Open Command Prompt , by typing cmd in search

Step 2 : Right click on the title of the CMD window and select Properties as shown in the picture below. 

Step 3 : You will see a pop window and now on the right hand side , Under Edit Options , Just check Quick Edit Mode and click ok as shown in the picture below.


Step 4 : That's it done. Now you can Copy and Paste any command from internet or through any wordpad files , documents and directly execute in cmd successfully.

This trick may help you from avoiding error's when typing in cmd and reduces the time by giving you an easy option to copy and paste.
